AGLA is now in the "Field of Membership" of the Arlington Virginia Federal Credit Union. This means that all AGLA members in good standing (having paid their annual membership dues) may join the credit union.
AGLA has, in fact, relocated its own deposit account to AVFCU. AGLA's Treasurer, Everett Fisher, reports that every person he dealt with at the credit union was very good to work with and that they seemed genuinely excited about AGLA becoming a member.
AVFCU has created a link from their website (www.arlingtonvafcu.org) to our AGLA website so that anyone looking for membership groups with access to the credit union will find their way to AGLA. We have also created a link for our members to AVFCU from AGLA's "Deals and Specials" and "Links" web pages.
